1. Pour 4 cups of undiluted white household vinegar into the water reservoir.
2. Place a paper filter into the filter basket and close.
3. Place empty decanter on the warming plate.
4. Turn the unit on and brew through only 3 cups of the vinegar and stop the unit by unplugging it or turning it off.
5. Let the remaining vinegar stand for 30 minutes.
6. After 30 minutes, pour the vinegar from the decanter back into the coffee maker reservoir and place the empty decanter back on the warming plate.
7. Turn the coffee maker back on to let all the vinegar flow through. When all the vinegar has flowed through, remove the paper filter and brew plain water until the vinegar smell is gone.
Check to see if hose in reservoir is disconnected, if so reconnect. Reservoir may be damaged.
Caused when the lid is not on correctly or if the lid is damaged.
1. If not in use, be sure that the Fabric Select Dial and Steam Lever are both set to “On / Off”. Otherwise, the steam valve will remain open, allowing water to enter the steam chamber. The water will not be turned into steam without the iron being turned on, and the soleplate will flood, causing leakage.
2. If the temperature setting is set for a low temperature, such as Synthetic, and the Steam Lever is set for high steam, the iron may leak due to the temperature not being high enough to generate steam for the selected steam setting.
When turned on for the first time, your new iron may give off a slight odor for up to ten minutes. This is due to the initial heating of the materials used. It is safe, and will not affect the performance of the unit.
Patented Motion Start Auto Off senses time, motion, and position. The iron will turn off if not moved after 30 seconds in the ironing position or on its side, and after 15 minutes in the upright position. The iron will not reheat unless it is moved.
1. Ensure that the unit is tightly plugged into a working outlet.
2. Some units are equipped with our patented Motion Smart Auto Off technology. Moving the iron will cause it to begin to reheat.
1. Allow the iron to reach operating temperature (about 2 minutes) before turning the steam dial to the desired setting.
2. The steam valve may be set on “dry“ or the steam valve may be clogged. Move the steam dial back and forth a couple of times to clean the valve and make sure it is on a “steam” setting.
